Ekelund Master Weaver 1692
Ekelund is Sweden's oldest weaving mill with textile traditions dating back to the 1400s and as a company since 1692. Artisanally crafted textiles with timeless designs made in a factory in Horred on the Swedish west coast. All production in the weaving mill takes place in their own factory. They import yarns, then weave, prepare, and manufacture.
Their first delivery to the Swedish royal court was made in 1878 to Gustav V and continues to this day. Being a royal court supplier is a prestigious distinction Ekelund carries with pride.
The throws are an excellent choice for the environmentally conscious consumer. The throw is woven from 100% organic cotton and is GOTS-certified, ensuring that it is not only beautiful to look at but also produced according to high environmental and social standards. The high-quality rugged cotton provides exceptional softness and durability, ensuring that the throw will be a cherished part of your home for many years to come.
