Rebecca Noel Designs
Rebecca Noel Loomis has been passionate about the art of jewelry making from a young age, and it has long served as both a sanctuary and a creative outlet. This passion eventually led to the creation of Rebecca Noel Designs. Over the years, Rebecca has honed her craft-learning hands-on in bead shops and under the tutelage of master jewelers. Her work has been influenced by the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, the verdant hills of Tennessee, and the rugged coasts of Northern Ireland, evolving into a celebration of the delicate balance between nature and artistry.
Her full inspiration is a woven tapestry that combines the beauty of natural gardens, the diverse art she encounters, the supportive community of artists around her, and the unique perspectives of her customers. Each piece of jewelry Rebecca creates is a narrative of shared inspiration, what she likes to call "windows into another world." Her jewelry inspires the imagination and invites both wearers and viewers to peer into miniature landscapes of flora and color, frozen in time but alive with depth and intricacy.
Using a multimedia approach, Rebecca infuses real plants-many of which she grows and dries-epoxy clay, and the subtle shimmer of mica powders, crushed glass, and metal leaf into her designs, all encased in crystal-clear resin. This resin, carefully degassed to ensure perfection, encases each element in a lustrous, high-polished finish. The creation of handmade ear wires from sterling silver and gold-filled wire for her dangle earrings exemplifies her commitment to detail and the wearer's comfort. The final effect of each piece results in an aesthetic that is both earthy and ethereal.
Rebecca desires her work to be a conduit of blessing, offering moments of pause and refreshment. Crafting these tiny world miniature landscapes of flora and color, each with its own unique story-is a privilege that she is eager to share. Her pieces are an invitation to observe the world anew, find joy in the minutiae, and wear something truly special and unique.
Residing in the Cincinnati area, Rebecca's work is a labor of love that she is excited to share.
