Jewelry Series
Rooted in a deep reverence for nature, this series highlights the fragments we often overlook-objects left behind, collected, or quietly admired. Bones and objects are transformed into intentional, one of a kind earrings through electroforming, a process that seals and elevates each element with a sense of preciousness.

Misha Nalepa is a Toledo-based artist whose practice bridges glass and metal. Trained in sculpture at the Columbus College of Art & Design, he now serves as Lead Glass Studio Artist at the Toledo Museum of Art. His glasswork centers on form, function, and a continual pursuit of new techniques, while his electroformed jewelry transforms natural materials-such as bone and taxidermied elements-into preserved, wearable objects. Through both mediums, Nalepa explores craftsmanship, material memory, and the intimate connection between object and wearer.
