"These decorative glass hearts originated in Toledo, Ohio during the end of the 20th century to protect establish relationships (friends, family, and lovers) and to deter any inappropriate suitors from calling. According to the legend, our ancestors used to hang these Watch Hearts in windows to guard romance by warding off bad relationships, creepy blind dates, and unwanted advances. As a result of their dazzling color and their angelic wings these heart's aura is one of true love; and anything but true love will pass by the home."
