Dreaming of Spirit Animals is a documentary about the glass art of Cappy Thompson, an internationally renowned glass painter working in the Pacific Northwest. In 2000 Thompson received a commission to create the largest hand-painted narrative stained glass window in the United States - a 90ft. long by 33 ft. high window wall.
The film chronicles the making of this work from dream inspiration, to fabrication in Germany at Deric Glasstudios, to installation at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and unveiling in 2004.
Directed and produced by Sally Cloninger, an independent filmmaker and media activist.
