This 100% cotton canvas tote features two important figures in the Studio Glass Movement, Erwin Eisch and Harvey Littleton, with quotes regarding their views on glass making. Underneath the image of Eisch is his quote "Technique is dear" and underneath the image of Littleton is his quote "Technique is cheap."

The images of each artist are based on a series of vitreograph prints produced by Thomas Buechner. Vitreography, a printmaking technique pioneered by Harvey Littleton, is a print that has been printed from a glass matrix onto paper. Unlike a monotype, in which an image is painted onto a piece of glass and then transferred under pressure to a piece of paper, the image on a vitreograph plate is fixed and can be inked and re-inked to produce an edition of multiples.
