The inspiration that the natural order of flower species has afforded me, through the wondrous repetition of form, their ever-varying adaptation due to the differing regions where they evolved, has become a central basis for my current work. I seek to transform into glass key elements that are then distilled into this quite different medium from Ruysch's elaborate floral fantasies, especially focusing on issues of color saturation and texture.
